The Minnesota Timberwolves NBA franchise is up for sale, and one of the potential buyers is Kevin Garnett. The current owner Glain Taylor has already hired a sales company so that he could give up the Minneapolis team. The 79-year-old bought Minnesota in 1994 for just under $ 90 million and is currently worth a whopping $ 1.2 billion.
Most of the buyers want to move the franchise to another city, but Taylor said he would only sell the team if he stayed in Minneapolis. Garnett is one of those who want the club to stay in the city, and he said in 2017 that he wants to own the club in which he played from 1995 to 2007 and from 2015 to 2016.
He had the best games in his career at the Timberwolves, and in 2004 he was voted the most useful basketball player in the regular season.
