Weekend Preview

nhl-sceneNHL Sports Betting Preview: Blackhawks Face Tough Tests As They Look To Keep Streak Alive

After opening the season with at least a point in each of their first 13 games, the Chicago Blackhawks will look to keep their streak alive against a pair of tough opponents this weekend. The Blackhawks will open the weekend with a game against the San Jose Sharks on Friday, before facing off against the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. With no NBA action outside of the All-Star festivities, there will be a lot of plays on the NHL this weekend with another couple of key matchups to look forward to. The Ottawa Senators will limp in to the Battle of Ontario without Jason Spezza and Erik Karlsson when they visit the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, and will be in tough to keep up without two of their biggest stars. Then on Sunday, Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins are in Buffalo for a matinee date as they look to take it to the Sabres.

NBA Online Betting Preview: All-Stars Set To Put On A Show This Weekend

After Lebron James and Kevin Durant dazzled fans in a rematch of the NBA Finals on Thursday, when they dropped a combined 79 points in a 110-100 Miami Heat win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, both superstars will take the stage again at this weekend’s NBA All-Star game. The events begin on Friday right through to Sunday, with everything from the celebrity game to the skills competition, and then the actual All-Star contest on Sunday. The highlight of the weekend could very well once again be the dunk competition on Saturday night, but then again with Lebron and Durant set to go against one another on Sunday, anything can happen.

College Basketball Sportsbook Preview: Top-Ranked Indiana, No. 2 Duke On The Floor Saturday

The top two teams in the country will be on the hardwood this Saturday, as No. 1 Indiana looks for its third-straight win when it hosts Purdue, before No. 2 Duke visits Maryland in a bid not to fall any further back of No. 3 Miami in the ACC. The Hurricanes enter the weekend with a two-game lead in the conference after winning each of their first 11 games against ACC opponents, and they are at Clemson on Sunday. The Hoosiers meanwhile are tied with No. 8 Michigan State for the best record in the Big Ten at 10-2, with the Spartans set to visit Nebraska on Saturday, in their final game before hosting Indiana in a conference showdown the following Tuesday.

PGA Tour Online Sports Betting Preview: Kuchar Out Front Early On In Northern Trust Open

Matt Kuchar spent the past three weeks away from the course, taking a break from the sport that he loves. What he did with his time off is his business, but whatever it was, it looks as though it has worked. Kuchar began play at the Northern Trust Open with three-straight birdies, all of the putts inside three feet. He wrapped up the opening round in first place at seven-under, one shot ahead of Sergio Garcia heading in to the weekend rounds.
