The long awaited kickoff of the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE is finally here. The Denver Broncos will host the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens later tonight. Denver is a heavy favorite to win the game, led by their all star quarterback Peyton Manning and a good wide receiving group which includes Wes Welker, Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas. Even though Baltimore has a great quarterback in Joe Flacco and a pro bowl running back in Ray Rice, they lost some key important players in defense like Ray Lewis, and it will be really hard for the Ravens to repeat as Super Bowl champions.I still won´t take them off the list of the favorites either, their coach Harbaugh has done amazing things for the evil birds.
In the AFC, Denver is a heavy favorite to make it to the Super Bowl as are the New England Patriots with Tom Brady at quarterback. The Super Bowl is to be held in New York in the early part of 2014. In the NFC it´s a coin toss between several teams. The San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are also heavy favorites for the odds makers. Other teams like the Chicago Bears, N.Y.Giants, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons are also dark horses on the outside as well and should make the playoffs.
Other good Matchups for Week 1 include Atlanta at New Orleans, Green Bay at San Francisco, New York Giants at Dallas and the Monday night rivalry game between Philadelphia at Washington.
The best part of the year is here…..expectations for all NFL fans are high and every team starting Thursday night has a shot. NFL followers, enjoy, pigskin season is here !!! You can visit your favorite online sportbook and spoil yourself with the action!
