Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has reportedly accepted to end his long term feud with Rio Ferdinand and the pair are expected to shake hands this Sunday as Chelsea entertain United at the Bridge. Ferdinand had previously lambasted the Chelsea defender as a ‘choc-ice’. Since then, the Ferdinand’s have issued a statement and the bottom line is that although a lot of progress has been achieved down the years with regards to racism in football, there is still plenty of hard work to be done.
