It may be early October but that doesn’t mean Pac-12 fans won’t still get the opportunity to see a critical conference matchup unfold on the NCAA moneyline in Week 6. This Saturday the No. 5 Stanford Cardinal will face their toughest test of the season thus far, lined up against a No. 15 Washington Huskies program that’s come out of the gates swinging.
The Cardinal may take a 7.5-point advantage into the Saturday clash, but the Huskies have emerged as potential threats after starting their 2013 campaign off on the right foot. A victory over No. 19 Boise State to open the season, combined with their suffocating defense that’s limited opponents to just 10.4 points per game makes them one of the more intriguing college football betting options.
The Cardinal, however, are ranked in the nation’s top-five for a reason and will look to showcase that in their third conference matchup of the young season. Can Kevin Hogan and company show why the Cardinal have 11/1 odds of winning the BCS National Championship?
The Huskies may not be expected to knock off their rivals in the weekend clash, but that doesn’t mean their early season momentum was all for naught. In Week 7, Washington will play host to No. 2 Oregon and having a chance to prepare against a top-ranked foe will do wonders for their confidence.
