The Pittsburgh Steelers had to come from behind (13-0) to record an impressive victory against the Houston Texans after they were jeered by their home crowd. They scored an incredible 24 un answered points in the second quarter to see off the Texans. The loss will not go down well with the Texans after a sudden loss of concentration. The match ended 30-23.
Indeed, it was a mixture of some amazing plays and a lucky bounce or two which saw Pittsburgh rally from 13-0 down into a 24-13 lead in two minutes and 54 seconds of high tiempo drama which kept the ecstatic crowd on their feet..
“You don’t expect to score that many pointse t fast. It was crazy.” said Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers quarter back, who was the mastermind of the comeback.
Steelers fans not happy
The Steelers had been doing the jeering rounds as they were clearly not satisfied with the performance of the first quarter. But the jeers quickly turned to cheers as they took a stunning lead and the crowd was on it’s feet in appreciation.
Ben Roethlisberger threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns, wide receiver Antonio Brown also threw for a surprise touchdown while Le’Veon Bell added 145 total yards and a receiving score.
“We fought through some adversity,” Roethlisberger said afterwards. “You dont expect to score that many points that fast. It was crazy. It was one of the most memorable games I have played.”
